Consistory – the consistory of the ACC is the church governing body.  Composed of 9 men and women, elders and deacons, this group takes responsibility for the administrative and pastoral care needs of the congregation. 

Worship and Music Ministry –  with the pastor and organist, this group of dedicated individuals meets to provide Biblical integrity and Spiritual inspiration to all services of worship.  In addition to weekly services of worship, there are special services during Holy Week (eg: a family Seder supper, Good Friday for children and adults), Thanksgiving, and Christmas.   Children and adults are invited to share their gifts of vocal and instrumental music. 

Church Life and Missions Ministry – this group of dedicated parishioners creatively offers a number of congregational and out-reach activities.  From a weekly coffee hour to a yearly chili cook-off; from a Palm Sunday family pot luck, to Advent wreath making and hanging of the greens; from cooking for 240 people at Eva’s shelter to creating 150 health kits for disaster survivors;  this group invites the interactive presence of our members and friends. And actively helps: St. Peter's Haven, Eva's Shelter of Paterson, Habitat for Humanity, Church World Service and the Phoenix Center.

Property Ministry – this group of dedicated workers keeps the property and buildings looking fresh and welcoming.   Whatever the request, from light bulbs to snow removal,  no need is too small or too large to be ignored!  And the bonus, is the genuine desire to help and to provide a service!

Pastoral Care Ministry and Pastoral Care Coordinator – this group of dedicated care givers maintains a prayer chain and sees to the pastoral care needs of the congregation.  Home and hospital visits, friendly cards and phone calls,  hot meals or other identified needs, are all addressed by this group and our dedicated coordinator - Nancy Bojack you can email her at: nancy@allwoodcommunitychurch.com

Labyrinth Ministry – Under the direction of our labyrinth facilitator, the labyrinth, a tool for walking prayer and meditation is open to the congregation and the wider community every third Thursday from 6 – 9 pm.  More information please click here.
